This is a furry tail, about a Werewolf named Count Wolfula. Once upon a time, in a land known as Wolfsylvania, there lived a bad Werewolf known as Count Wolfula. He preyed on innocent young victims, biting their necks and turning them into Werewolves. He did not go after not-so-innocent older victims due to a cholesterol problem in the country which caused a hardening of the arteries in the older population, which made bloodsucking more difficult and less tasty. The police had been after him for years, and one lucky night, they caught him in the act. The penalty for a practicing Werewolf in that country was death by beheading. The only chance for reprieve was for Wolfula to have a unique experimental surgery which would effectively end his desire for biting people and sucking blood. Count Wolfula refused this procedure, stating that he would rather die than cease to be a Werewolf. As they led him to the guillotine, the authorities again asked him if he would have the surgery. Again he refused. As they strapped his head in the contraption, and the executioner moved into position, they asked him one more time if he would undergo the operation, and one last time he declined. As the blade began to fall, Wolfula screamed "Wait!", but alas, it was too late, and the Count was beheaded. Moral: Don't hatchet your Counts before they chicken.
