Life is but a paradox that
makes me wonder why
At birth when you begin to live, you also start to die
Why would someone spend their life trying to make it short
With guns and knives and bombs and things, and killing just for sport
It seems to me that God gave life with just one goal in mind-
That all His creatures love him, with peace for all mankind
Life can be eternal, this trait it shares with death
So live life to the fullest, until your final breath
One last thing I beg of you as I prepare to go
Accept Christ as your Saviour, through you His love will show
Life will be eternal in Heaven up above
And then you will experience His neverending love.
